Unschooling

Homeschool dad & founder of About Time

A child-led approach where learning follows the child's interests rather than a set curriculum or schedule.

In the spirit of educator John Holt, it trusts that children learn naturally when given freedom, resources, and an engaged adult. Days are driven by curiosity rather than lesson plans, and subjects emerge from real projects, reading, conversation, and play. Families still keep whatever records their state asks for.
